About NDIS

What is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia's national scheme for people with disability. It provides funding directly to eligible individuals to help them access the support and services they need to live independently and participate in their community.

Am I eligible for the NDIS?

To be eligible for the NDIS, you generally need to:
  • Be under 65 years of age when you first apply
  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa
  • Have a permanent and significant disability that affects your ability to take part in everyday activities
If you're unsure about your eligibility, we can help you understand the process.

What is an NDIS plan?

An NDIS plan is a personalised document that outlines your goals, the supports you need, and how much funding you have to achieve them. Your plan is developed with you and is based on your individual needs and circumstances. Plans are typically reviewed annually.

Support & Care

Are your support workers qualified?

Yes, all our support workers are fully qualified and screened. They hold:
  • Relevant qualifications in disability support or community services
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
They also receive ongoing training to ensure they provide the highest quality care.

Can I change my support schedule?

Absolutely! We understand that your needs may change over time. We offer flexible scheduling and can adjust your support plan as needed. Just contact us and we'll work with you to make any necessary changes.

What happens if my regular support worker is unavailable?

We ensure continuity of care by having a team of trained support workers familiar with your needs. If your regular support worker is unavailable, we'll arrange for another qualified team member who has been briefed on your support plan to ensure consistent care.

Funding & Payments

How is NDIS funding managed?

NDIS funding can be managed in three ways:
  • Self-managed: You manage your own funding and pay providers directly
  • Plan-managed: A plan manager handles payments on your behalf
  • Agency-managed: The NDIA manages your funding and pays providers
We work with all funding management types.

How much do your services cost?

Our services are priced according to the NDIS Price Guide, which sets maximum prices for NDIS supports. The cost will depend on the type of support you need and when you need it. We provide transparent pricing and will discuss all costs with you before services begin.
